Mixed but worth it

Eventually I stopped doomscrolling and did the darn modules. Some videos are kinda repetitive, yet the weekly standups forced me to show up. When I asked hard questions, one instructor actually dug in. Not perfect, still moved the needle.

Solid track and mentors

Orientation laid out the portal, weekly lives, and projects clearly. Communication on Slack was prompt and kind. I hit a wall in week 6, mentors booked extra check-ins and unblocked me. Content repeats here and there, but accountability and career calls stood out for me.

What helped me finish

During the first month I doubted I could keep pace with work and kids. A mentor messaged me late evening with a tiny milestone plan. That nudge mattered. Projects felt real enough to stay motivated, and the job search prep kept me from drifting.

Structured and motivating

From enrollment to first module, the portal walked me through everything. Weekly live sessions made me accountable, and mentors answered questions quickly on Slack. Career services polished my CV and mock interviews felt real. Some videos are basic, but projects tie it together.

Good fit with funding

I only committed once my Bildungsgutschein was approved. Some content feels outsourced, but my instructor was engaged and the career sprints kept me moving. Without funding, price would have felt heavy.

Serious program, clear comms

I enrolled, got prompt confirmation emails, and the orientation call was efficient. Navigation is structured, with modules, assessments, and mentor slots all easy to find. I had one content link break; support fixed it within a day and apologized. What stood out was the transparent grading rubrics and weekly goals. It’s rigorous but not opaque.

Fired up to learn

I opened the dashboard and literally felt that buzzy mix of nerves and excitement. The projects are meaty, mentors actually show up, and the instructions didn’t waffle. I kept thinking, wow, I can do this. And then I did.

Clear path to mastery

Getting started was straightforward: quick account setup, clean dashboard, and programs clearly labeled by track and level. The syllabus pages linked to projects, assessments, and mentor sessions in a logical flow. I appreciated the upfront notes on tuition options and schedules. Minimal learning curve beyond finding my paint-by-numbers next steps in the LMS. Strong first impression for serious upskilling.

Career switch suddenly felt possible

I went in skeptical and came out buzzing. The projects weren’t fluff, they actually kicked my brain into gear. Hard work, yes, but the momentum is addictive.

Signed up and got moving

Registration was quick and the dashboard pointed me straight to the first module. The syllabus and checkpoints were easy to follow. A short learning curve, then I was building projects by day two.

Solid curriculum, few rough edges

Felt confident by week three thanks to practical projects. A couple lessons needed updating, but support clarified fast. Left satisfied and motivated to keep building.

interesting lab, early days

Signed up to try the tool and the onboarding was brief. Navigation is clean but it’s clearly R&D focused. Instructions are concise, just expect a bit of exploration. Solid start with room to grow.

ambitious, well executed tools

Tools feel polished and thoughtfully built. I felt curious during onboarding and confident afterward because explanations were transparent and the product behaved reliably under load.

Thoughtful, mission-aware support

Emailed about Maestro access. Got a clear, friendly response with timelines, links, and expectations for beta. Follow-up included status updates. My questions were thoroughly addressed.

Heading to master school was

Heading to master school was a turning point for me as a software engineer. I already had some basics down, but I knew I needed more depth. Doing it all on my own just wasn’t enough. What was great about this program was how well it fit with my part-time job. I didn’t have to sacrifice work or learning. Plus, there was always someone available to chat with if I needed extra help or time. The support and flexibility really made a difference, and I felt like I was truly growing in my skills. It wasn’t just about coding, it was about becoming a better version of myself in my career.

My experience with Masterschool has been really good.

My experience with Masterschool has been really good. The people are very skilled, kind, patient, and full of knowledge. During the whole process, I felt supported with close attention and real care. I gave my best, and they offered all the help I needed to progress — and I really think it has been worth it so far. I was lucky to have amazing mentors: Katharina, a real genius and joy to learn from; Juan, who made our classes warm and friendly while sharing lots of knowledge; Nyemba, always ready to assist and fast with solutions; and Vladislava, from whom I could spend hours learning — she is a never-ending source of knowledge and care. The learning journey has been very rewarding. Now, in the final stage of preparing my resume and LinkedIn, Vladislava has been fantastic! I sent my resume to StepStone and got more than 10 strong (Starker Match) job offers in just two days. Now it’s time to get ready for interviews, create exciting projects, and hope for a great chance ahead. A big thanks and warm regards to everyone!
